Hazing is not longer limited to fraternity men and sorority women. 2006 studies show 1.5 million high schoolers are hazed every year. 80 percent of NCAA athletes say they were Preventing Hazinghazed in high school. Psychologist Susan Lipkins who wrote “Preventing Hazing” says, “Hazing crosses every line – socio-economic lines, race, gender, religion, age.” More information about hazing can be found at www.insidehazing.com. National Hazing Prevention Week is September 25-29.
