Girls Met Lucy
Lucy Hurston niece of the author Zora Neale Hurston met the members of the Sister-to-Sister Club from Eisenhower Middle School. 
She spoke with the girls about their “responsibility as girls of color” while citing antidotal stories about her own journey toward receiving her PHD. Lucy is currently an instructor at Manchester Community College in 
Manchester, Connecticut and the author of Speak, So You Can Speak Again: The Life of Zora Neale Hurston
